Big Horn, Petrofied Wood, and Atlatl Rock

[These photos are from the Valley of Fire -- as I mentioned yesterday I took too many photos, so I'm spacing them out.]

I declared pre-trip that I would see a big horned sheep, and luckily an incredibly tame male decided to oblige.  He was basically posing for photos for the tourists.

The three logs were heavily protected by chain link fences...

Then it was on towards Atlatl Rock where we demonstrated arrow throwing and saw our first glimpse of petroglyphs.

By the way, we have no idea what any of these symbols mean, so don't believe people if they say they can read them.
