Day 2 started with another flat tire for my team...

To entertain us as we climbed 1400 ft over 6 miles, the organizers alerted us to the possibility of a big foot sighting. And then we saw him...

That hill, known as Leggett, wasn't actually as bad as you thought it would be. But then you have 12 miles of downhill, which rocked; followed by another 800 ft climb over 2 miles -- and that is when you really start feeling it.

And then you turn a corner and there is the ocean:

We ended the day at Ft. Bragg and I decided I deserved a mint chocolate chip milkshake (Yeah!).

Day 3 was what I call the worst day. We had the option of riding 100 miles this day and that meant we had time restrictions on our ride. I can easily ride 65 miles in a day, but don't ask me to do it by noon. Still some of the ride was very beautiful.
