Babies, Babies, Babies

If you drive through the dairy farm that sits on the edge of Elkhorn Slough (just east of the power plant) you can find a rookery. Herons, egrets, and cormorants all use this rookery to nest and in turn, have babies. Lots of babies.

So the dairy farm is a baby making machine. A cow (that we thought was dead) was actually giving birth as we left. You know I have to watch that...
